Create some additional family fun for your loved ones while visiting the Riviera on Vaal by enjoying a picnic on the banks of the Vaal River.
Some tips on how to green your picnic:
- Go local. What better place to have a picnic than in your local parks or resorts like the Riviera on Vaal Hotel and Country Club?
- Reuse when you can. Picnics are a great way to use things that are reusable, including utensils, drinking cups, glass food containers (packed very carefully) and blankets.
- Learn about your surroundings. We tend to forget that nature has so much to offer. This is the ideal opportunity to teach your kids about certain insects or the local trees growing in your area. Bring along some binoculars or a magnifying glass and teach them more about the little things in life.
